	Plum Tree and Plum Varieties

	The Malaysia plum may refer to two varieties of plum: -Prunus salicina - Prunus mume Prunus salicina Prunus salicina is a small deciduous tree native to China, and now also grown in Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia. The tree can grow up to 12 m tall. The white flower with five petals is width 1.8 cm diameter. Its leaves with 5-11cm long and wide 2-5cm. The flesh is in yellow brown in color Ume Prunus mume is a genus of Asian plum in the family Rosaceae. The Ume leaves is pointed tip and in oval shape. The white or red in color flower has five petals with 2-3 cm in diameter. The fruit it self will turn to yellow while it is ripens.
